Herbal Garden
The college maintains a well-developed and meticulously maintained Herbal Garden spread over an area of 5,000 square meters, serving as a living repository of medicinal plants and an important educational resource for students of Ayurveda.
The garden houses a rich collection of more than 250 medicinal herbs, shrubs, and trees commonly described in classical Ayurvedic texts. It provides students with practical exposure to the identification, cultivation, preservation, and therapeutic importance of medicinal plants used in Ayurvedic practice and pharmaceutical preparations.
To facilitate effective learning, each plant is properly labeled with its Sanskrit Name, Vernacular Name, and Botanical Name, enabling students to easily identify and study various medicinal species. The garden also includes a 500 sq. ft. Demonstration Room used for practical teaching sessions, plant demonstrations, academic discussions, and research activities.
The herbal garden is maintained under expert supervision with regular irrigation, systematic cultivation practices, and proper plant care to ensure healthy growth and conservation of valuable medicinal species.
